Our Pastor
Pastor Nick Grove
I was born and raised in the Des Moines area, graduated from Morningside College in 2011 majoring in Religious Studies and English, served as a camp counselor at Wesley Woods during my college years, and then, graduated Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2014 with a focus in congregational leadership.
After graduating seminary, I served at St. Charles Parish in St. Charles, IA. In ministry, I have spent time working on adaptive leadership work to try and help build disciples across our district and in our church, and I have served on the conference Board of Camps and Retreat Ministry as well as the Summer Games University Board.
In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, rooting on the Huskers and Cubs, and reading, among many passions.
I am engaged, and my fiancé Chelsey, lives in the Joliet area. With a Spring 2020 wedding date, I am excited to begin our journey together to follow wherever God may call us.
